INSTALLATIONS

I approach all of my projects with the layered lens of an artist and a designer. My decades of experience with materials is rooted in my education in craft and my exposure to a network of skilled artists. I developed this series of modular components by designing dielines that could be used for both small-scale and large-scale manufacturing processes. Ask me about having a custom order of fluted cardboard produced; I have a lot to say about it. Envisioning how a piece will activate a space and how it will inform the use of a space brings new dimensions to my practice.

Making these installations pulled me out of stagnant thinking and taught me to design for a particular place and the people moving through it. That perspective now shapes my design work: define what stays constant, decide what can vary, and plan for how something will be made and how people will meet it.
